He is Director of Risk & Compliance Management at Government Sector, with over 18 years of experience in various sectors. Dr. Raed Al-Shaikh is the Upstream Computer Operations Department Director at Saudi Aramco, and has more than 20 years of experience in Large-Scale High Performance Computing and Data Storage technologies, visualization and Cloud systems. His areas of interest lie in the Peer-to-Peer Computing, HPC, and Cloud-based environments. Prior to his position, he served as the Upstream Information Security Manager in the same organization. Dr. Al-Shaikh has been serving as a member in the Industrial Advisory Board of the Computer Science and Engineering Departments at both KFUPM and PMU universities. Dr. Al-Shaikh has co-authored over 35 IEEE and ACM publications in the fields of HPC, Grid Computing and Distributed File Systems, and co-designed 12 U.S. registered patents in similar domains.
