About the
Symposium
Towards the conclusion of 2020, the European Commission and the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy unveiled a new EU Cybersecurity Strategy. This strategy centers around developing collective capabilities to counter significant cyberattacks and fostering global partnerships to uphold international security and stability in cyberspace. It delineates the establishment of a Joint Cyber Unit, outlining how this collaborative effort can ensure the most efficient response to cyber threats by leveraging the combined resources and expertise of the EU and its Member States.
Europe’s commitment to this initiative is commendable, and our security symposium aligns with this objective. The symposium is specifically geared towards enhancing Europe’s security policies, placing a particular emphasis on the zero-trust paradigm.
