Mr. Gopan has over 2 decades of information security experience on various roles ranging from security analyst, implementer, consultant, architect and various leadership positions.

He is currently the leader for Secureworks META region.

He holds Bachelor of Technology in IT and also he is an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and CISM.

He started his career as an Information Security Analyst part of a Managed security services team with an IT giant in India.

By 2007, he landed in his first Middle Eastern job with Bahwan IT in Oman . That was a pure play Presales role when the concept was still very fresh in the industry . Responsibilities included doing presales presentations, Proof of Concepts, internal and external trainings, responding to RFPs, working closely with Sales and Post sales team for commercial and technical queries as a subject matter expert.

After serving couple of years in India with large MSSPs , he moved back to the Middle East in 2011.

In 2014 , he joined as the first employee at Secureworks Middle East . Since then he has been instrumental in developing the business in the META region . Currently,
he leads business for Secureworks in the Middle East & Africa region.

As a subject matter expert, he has conducted public seminars on information security awareness for Educational institutions in India and Middle east.
