The Senior Product Manager is responsible for evaluating and determining what the product team builds with a strategic mindset for our clients and customers. They effectively drive success by leading a collaborative product-driven delivery team focused on end-user experience, partner value, and new solutions. They are willing to roll up their sleeves and dive in to do whatever is needed to push the envelope of digital lending. The Senior Product Manager helps the Head of Product to develop product team members to build and maintain a best-in-class product organization within Coviance. They have a strong product management background with the ability to coach, mentor, lead more junior product managers while also maintaining the ability to effectively communicate with executives, stakeholders, and customers.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in defining product strategy, vision, and outcome-based roadmap development in collaboration.
  • Define product metrics and outcomes with ongoing analysis and review and offer ideas for enhancements.
  • Analyze and keep up with industry trends, including offerings, trends, strategy changes and innovations.
  • Perform product discovery, analyze information and determine the path to propose whether we want to prioritize a new integration. This includes the definition of “minimal viable product” (MVP) initial and subsequent releases to be validated through customer discovery.
  • Conduct customer discovery for new or refined product capabilities to inform and validate MVP definition and user experience, continuing through customer interaction with prototypes and beta versions through production adoption.
  • Collecting and interpreting customer feedback while collaborating with the product design in creating the intended customer experience.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers, and the Head of Product on priorities and the needs of the product team to provide the maximum value to Coviance and our clients.
  • Collaboration with other Coviance orgs for product success, including Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, Engineering and Customer Success.
  • Initiate and be welcome to candid guidance conversations at all levels.
  • Uphold Coviance’s code of ethics and business conduct.

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 6-8 years of Product Management experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration with agile product teams including engineering, UX, QA, and Delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience with MVP definition and customer discovery.
  • Lending industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Superior written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Proven track record of strong client and/or vendor relationships.
  • Proven experience influencing business and technology leadership.
  • Ability to transform the needs of Coviance into products as our business grows.
  • Strategic, and intellectually curious thinker with a focus on outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage and communicate on all activities to all stakeholders.
  • Able to motivate and mentor product team members

Preferred skills:

  • Experience with B2B and reoccurring revenue preferred
