Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms. + 3 years of experience with 3D computer vision including SLAM, motion estimation, autonomous driving, or robotics. + Experience designing computer vision systems. + One or more scientific publication submission(s) for conferences, journals, or public repositories. Preferred qualifications: + Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field. + 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging). The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google ( . + Write and test product or system development code. + Design and implement computer vision systems, leverage ML infrastructure, and evaluate tradeoffs between different algorithms and design techniques. + Drive project work by defining the data structure, framework, design, and evaluation metrics for research solution development and implementation. Identify timelines and obtain resources needed. + Author research papers to share and generate impact of research results across function and in the research community. + Identify new and upcoming research areas by interacting with potential external and internal collaborators.
