Position Overview: The Quality Assurance Professional is someone who ensures consistent standards through testing, documentation, and collaboration with stakeholders, implementing comprehensive test plans while identifying and resolving defects across pharmacy networks and software systems in a remote position requiring strong analytical skills and relevant industry knowledge.

What You'll Do

A Quality Assurance (QA) professional ensures that products or services meet consistent standards of quality. Their responsibilities often include:

  • Inspecting and Testing: Performing inspections and tests at various stages of plan design and pharmacy networks to identify defects or issues.
  • Developing Standards: Creating and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Problem Solving: Identifying workflow or production issues and proposing solutions.
  • Documentation: Recording processes and documentation to support the PLAD and business architecture
  • Training: Educating team members on quality standards and inspection processes.
  • Test Planning: Develop software comprehensive test plans outlining strategies, objectives, and resources.
  • Test Execution: Design and execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs and ensure software functionality.
  • Defect Reporting: Document and report software defects, collaborating with software provider to resolve issues.
  • Regression Testing: Verify that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Quality Metrics: Monitor and track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software meets user needs.

What You Will Bring To MedOne

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is often preferred. Or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards is highly preferred
