Order Desk Associate – Bilingual (English/French)

Location: St. Laurent, Quebec
Full-Time | Monday to Friday

Shah Trading Company Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Order Desk Associate to support our growing operation in St. Laurent, Quebec. This role is essential to ensuring our customers receive accurate, timely, and professional service while working closely with internal teams to coordinate smooth order processing and fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Management:

    • Receive, verify, and enter customer orders into the ERP system with speed and accuracy.

    • Ensure orders meet company policies and customer requirements (labeling, shipping preferences, etc.).

  • Customer Service:

    • Respond to product, pricing, and availability inquiries via phone and email in a courteous and professional manner.

    • Resolve customer issues or escalate as necessary to ensure satisfaction.

  • Internal Coordination:

    • Liaise with sales, logistics, and warehouse teams to confirm and coordinate order fulfillment.

    • Communicate special requests to production or logistics teams as needed.

  • Reporting & Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of orders, invoices, and client communication.

    • Provide regular reports on trends, order volumes, and service levels.

  • Bilingual Support:

Communicate fluently in both English and French , supporting a diverse customer base across Canada.


What You Bring:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service, sales support, or order entry roles.

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and French .

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems (experience with Microsoft Business Central is an asset).

  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
