Shift: Shift 1/8:45:00 AM to 7:15:00 PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $30.27 - $40.86 / hour

Summary

Lee Physician Group is seeking an experienced RN to join their Nurse Triage Team located at the Orion Building in Fort Myers. This RN will cover primary care calls, crisis calls as well as some specialty areas (GI, adult endocrinology, Neuro and Rheumatology). The hours are:

Weekday Shifts - 8:45 am to 7:15 pm, every other weekend hours are 7:00 am to 5:15 pm. Holidays are rotated.

Completes a detailed clinical assessment via telephone to identify the urgency and nature of the patients condition and coordinates the appropriate disposition to receive healthcare. Responsible for utilizing the nursing process and Evidence-Based decision support tools. Makes complex decisions based on nursing assessment, effective listening, critical thinking, advanced assessment and communication skills are essential. In addition to patient triage, the RN will facilitate other care delivery and self-care advice as the situation warrants.

Requirements

Educational Requirements

Degree/Diploma Obtained	Program of Study	Required/ Preferred	and/or
Bachelor's	Nursing	Preferred

Additional Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred.

Experience Requirements

Minimum Years Required	Area of Experience	Required/ Preferred	and/or
3 Years	Nursing	Required

Additional Requirements

3 years nursing experience in emergency medicine, medical surgical, case management, ICU, urgent care, Outpatient clinics, ambulatory care sites, or physician office experience required. Formal or informal telephone nursing preferred.

State of Florida Licensure Requirements
