Position Summary

The Finance Intern will support the day-to-day operations of the Finance team by assisting with financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and special projects. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a healthcare organization while contributing to initiatives that support our company’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly financial close activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Help prepare and analyze financial statements and variance reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with data entry and trend analysis.
• Conduct research on industry benchmarks and financial best practices.
• Participate in cross-functional projects with departments such as Operations, HR, and Revenue Cycle.
• Maintain accurate documentation and organize financial files and reports.
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance team as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a basic understanding of financial systems and principles.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duration & Schedule

This is a part-time, paid internship for Summer 2025 (with potential extension into the fall semester).
Expected weekly hours: 15–25 hours, flexible to accommodate academic schedules.
