Job Description

Summary/objective

The Estimator is responsible for delivering accurate estimating and data entry services for the organization. Their primary focus is to develop precise and detailed estimates that not only meet client expectations but also optimize job-level gross profits.

Essential functions 

● Gathers and scrubs project scope documentation 

● Reviews and manages Docusketch resources and dashboards 

● Reviews and manages photo documentation resources 

● Estimates losses and creates Xactimate documentation 

● Securing adjuster, carrier and client approvals

● Understands and exceeds TPA timeframes and performance expectations 

● Updates TPA dashboards with all triggers associated with estimating services

● Uploads completed estimates and invoices packages into Xactanalysis and/or DASH 

● Updates notes and tasks associated with the role within DASH 

● Provides timely supplements and/or change orders as requested by Field staff

Travel required 

Minimum travel outside the immediate operating area may be required 

Required education and experience 

● High school diploma or equivalent

● At least two years of related experience 

Preferred education and experience 

● Two or more years' experience estimating repair projects in the insurance restoration Industry 

● IICRC certifications in Water, Fire and Mold restoration

● Experience with Symbility Estimating software
