You'll build leadership and technical skills in a supply chain/manufacturing role, working on challenging, real-world problems and solve for what the world needs. You will build relationships with interns/co-ops and leaders, and you'll prepare for a potential full-time position after graduation in one of our fantastic leadership programs or direct hire opportunity. You'll be placed at the GE Aerospace location in Victorville, CA supporting our Flight Test Operation with an array of opportunities supporting the team operating a Boeing 747-400 Flying Test Bed (FTB). Essential Responsibilities: EHS stands for Environment, Health, and Safety. In this role you will be responsible for any workforce efforts to protect the health and safety of GE Aerospace employees, the public, and the environment from hazards. This may include industrial hygiene, hazard assessments, risk abatement, environmental (wastewater management, hazard/non-hazard waste disposal, air regulations, compliance with regulatory agencies) ergonomics, and addressing safety concerns. In this role you will apply your knowledge and skills to understanding our EHS management systems, framework and site operations, coach employees and teams to develop a sustainable processes and structure to meet all EHS requirements, and support GE Aerospace's sustainability efforts as it relates to wastewater and air in our manufacturing processes, as well as occupational health and wellness. Qualifications/Requirements: + Minimum 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale without rounding + Attending a full-time registered and nationally accredited bachelor or graduate program (accepted majors are listed below) + Reliable transportation, as many of our sites do not have public transportation available + Willingness and ability to work in GE Aerospace location in Victorville, CA, United States Degrees Accepted: + Chemical Engineering + Environmental Health and Safety or related + Environmental Engineering + Industrial Engineering + Facilities / Maintenance + Occupational Safety and Health Or any relevant or similar major to the ones above Eligibility Requirements: Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
