Job Title:  Biomedical Engineer
Location :Bonita Springs, Florida - HYBRID 
Job Type : Full-Time
Salary : Open to Review - Based on Experience 
Type of Contract : Independent Contractor Agreement 

About the Company: 

 Our company client is a growing pharmaceutical/ biotech company developing innovative cancer treatments and surgical imaging drugs. Their lead therapy, CPI-003, targets rare cancers, while their imaging drug, ZW800-1, helps surgeons see tumors more clearly.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and Development : Create and develop biomedical equipment and
medical devices, integrating electrical and mechanical engineering principles.

Data Analysis : Perform data analysis on imaging data to support the
development and optimization of medical devices.

Software Development : Develop custom software solutions to enhance the
functionality and performance of biomedical devices.

Manufacturing Support : Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure the
successful production of medical devices, adhering to industry standards and
regulations.

Technical Support : Provide technical support and training to healthcare
professionals on the use of biomedical equipment and systems.

Research and Innovation : Conduct research to innovate and improve existing
medical devices and develop new technologies.

Qualifications:

 *Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

*Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Biomedical engineering, with a
focus on electrical engineering, data analysis, imaging, and software
development. Preferable experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology
company.

Skills:
 Proficiency in electrical or mechanical engineering principles.
 Advanced data analysis skills, particularly with imaging data.
 Experience with custom software development.
 Experience with CAD software for designing medical devices.
 Knowledge of medical device manufacturing processes and regulations.
 Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
 Excellent problem-solving skills for addressing problems in complex
biological systems

  Additional Skills: (plus)

 Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and their application in
biomedical engineering.
 Knowledge of biocompatible materials and their use in medical
device design.
 Understanding of signal processing techniques for biomedical
applications.
 Experience with regulatory submissions and documentation for
medical devices (e.g., FDA, CE marking).
 Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB,
or C++.
