Ground Roots (a Strathmeyer company) is an agricultural business that specializes in Christmas trees, bagged and burlap trees and ornamentals. We are looking for a teammate that is a self starter, detail oriented and works well as a team. 

Duties:

• Gathering time sheet data in a timely manner
• Process payroll weekly
• Reconciliation between systems
• Calculating travel & overtime rates, and occasionally prevailing wage.
• Keep employee records up to date including vacation time
• Run weekly payroll reports
• Manage billing templates
• Annual onboarding for 50+ seasonal employees
• General office duties such as answering phone, filing, emails, etc.

Qualifications :

• Accurate and efficient data entry skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Quickbooks (preferred, not required)
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Able to meet deadlines
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Experience :
Previous payroll experience is preferred
Human Resource experience is a bonus

Part time 25 - 30 hours per week
Pay : $20 / hour
